Back to Hank is a roots band from Nijmegen playing old-time American music inspired by 1930s rural America. The five-piece band performs with harmonica, guitar, resonator guitar, double bass, banjo, mandoline and vocals, covering artists such as Old Crow Medicine Show, Fred Eaglesmith, Steve Earle, John Hiatt and the Steeldrivers, alongside original story-driven songs about outlaws, road trips and historic events. They perform acoustically in living rooms or gardens, or amplified in halls and at festivals. The band has played at weddings, blues festivals, cultural festivals and private parties in the Netherlands.
