Dear reader,
We are delighted to welcome WestCord to our growing network of
providers. They are bringing 15 hotels across the Netherlands to the
platform, from Amsterdam and Rotterdam all the way to the Wadden
Islands. That brings our number of venues to 15, giving event
organisers even more choice when looking for the perfect space.
But WestCord is not the only new face this month. We also welcome
Letter Junkie from Santpoort-Zuid, who bring their lettering artistry
to events, and DJ Sasha Rodnoy who joins us from Cologne. Speaking of
DJs: DJ Finch from Belgium
signed up this week as well, which is
actually perfect timing given what is coming up next...
Behind the scenes we are working hard on a complete redesign of our
browse experience, and we are excited that it goes live next week. We
are calling this update "Nora", named after our founder Eleonora. We
have decided that every major update will carry the name of one of our
team members, or they can make up a name themselves if they prefer.
We are curious to see how creative everyone gets!
We like to do things a little differently here at EventUnited and
enjoy keeping the vibe positive. These personal touches remind us
that real people are building this platform for real people in the
events industry.
In other news: based on your feedback we are looking into how we can
give the DJ section, and everyone working with audio, more room to
showcase their work. We are exploring a SoundCloud integration,
because music should be heard, and honestly, photos do not quite give
the same feeling ;-) More on this later, and thank you for all the
feedback on this. Got more ideas or suggestions to improve the
