Dear reader,
This is our very first newsletter, and before we do anything else, we want to pause for a moment. EventUnited has only just gone live for the public, and yet people are already signing up, providers are putting their services on the platform, and organisers are finding what they are looking for. It is a small but real moment for us, and we do not want to rush past it without saying: thank you for being here this early.
With that said, there is a lot going on behind the scenes, and we want to share a few things with you before the month is over.
The platform is growing faster than we expected. In the past few weeks alone, nine new providers have joined, and the number of active listings keeps climbing. Right now you will find event agencies and vendors across the Netherlands: caterers, decorators, planners, rental specialists, all reachable directly, with no middleman and no booking fees.
Behind the scenes we are also working on something new: an AI assistant that helps you find the right provider faster. Instead of scrolling through filters, you simply describe what you are looking for, for example "a caterer for eighty guests in Amsterdam with Mediterranean cuisine", and it shows the matches right away. It is already live on the platform, but we are still fine-tuning it based on how people use it. Feel free to try it and let us know what works and what does not.
One more thing: we are building EventUnited together with you, not just for you. Is there a category you cannot find yet, or a feature you would love to see on the platform?
